HOW the name "THE RUBICON" CAME TO BE.

After Julius Caesar conquered The Gauls, claiming France with his Roman Army, He became a hero to his people and next in line to be The Emperor of Rome, doing something that many before him had tried and failed.

Unfortunately, he hadn’t asked his bosses permission and he was made an outlaw by the leaders of Rome who Couldn’t bear his audacity and wanted his head on a stick.
As he and his army re-entered Italy they had a difficult decision to make. Caesar mulled over whether to hand himself in for treason or cross The Rubicon River with his army, calling on war with the Senate.
Today Julius Caesar is regarded as one of the greatest leaders in history and the other guys... well... their names are written down somewhere.

The Rubicon is a salute to the brave ones, the ones that cross The River.
